Trillian-is a proprietary multiprotocol instant messaging application for windows that can be connect to multiple IM services such as AIM,ICQ,Yahoo Messenger,IRC, Bonjour, XMPP and Skype networks.

FEATURE:

1.Connection to multiple IM services- connects to multiple instant messaging services without need of running multiple clients.Users can creat multiple connections to the same service and can also group connections under seperate identities to prevent confusion.All contacts are gathered under the same contract list.Contacts are not bound to their own IM service groups and can be dragged and dropped freely.

2.MetaContacts-When you have the same person on your list many different times across multiple IM services aggregate them into a single MetaContact for easy top down view of their combined presence information.

3.Activity History- log the history as plain text files and as XML files.XML-based history makes the log easy to manipulate,searchable and extendable for future function.

4.Emotiblips-are the video equivalent of an emoticon, During video sessions the user may stream a song or video to the other user in real time.one can send MP3's, WAVs, WMVs, and MPGs with this feature.

5.Skins and interfaces-trillian has its own unique skinning engine known as SkinXML.
